Patriots Summit (Madrid, February 7-8)
In the wake of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States of America, and after just a few months of Javier Milei’s presidency, which is blowing the wind of freedom in Argentina, Europe is discovering that political will, carried by massive support from the people, can change a Nation’s destiny.
In the face of this voluntarism, already embodied in certain European countries where national Patriot parties are in power, the European Union appears stuck in the past.
The Brussels elite has learned nothing from its mistakes, and has by no means abandoned its aspiration to transform the European Union into a mega-state focused on social engineering, with disastrous consequences for Europeans: illegal immigration and insecurity in our streets, reduced competitiveness, rising energy prices, climate fanaticism, excessive regulation and interference in private enterprise, and ideological pressure on member states.
The numerous corruption scandals in Brussels, as well as the attacks on freedom of expression, prove the hypocrisy of the Brussels elite.
The corruption and money-laundering affair involving former European Commissioner Didier Reynders is the most serious corruption scandal in the history of the European Union. An ecological lobbying scandal involving former Commissioner Timmermans is also underway. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Millions of European citizens sent a clear message in the last elections: the era of Brussels elites is over. The leaders of the Patriots are calling for change in Brussels to avoid further catastrophic decisions, failed policies and the status quo. We, the Patriots, are determined to bring common sense back into the decision-making process within the European Union, and to return the EU to its founding values.
The aim of the Patriots’ leadership is to win majorities both in the member states and in the European decision-making process.
Give Europe back its power, give the European nations back their greatness!
